RBT (REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN)

RBTs are the direct workers in our ABA programs. They spend their days doing 1:1 ABA, playing, and developing relationships and rapport with their clients. They may work in our Layton clinic or in our client’s homes. They are responsible for following written treatment and behavior plans from their BCBA, tracking data, and communicating with their team.

Requirements:
– High School Diploma
– 1 year or more working with children
– 1 year experience with people with disabilities
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent attention to details
– Ability to adapt to the situation
– Owning reliable transportation is a must

APPLY
MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST

Our mental health counselors provide services to children who have high functioning autism or other related developmental delays. We also provide individual counseling to adolescents, adults, families, and couples. Children with ADHD, depression, anxiety, learning delays, and disabilities can also benefit from a therapeutic approach provided by a counselor. Our counselors use many cognitive and behavior approaches and other teaching methods to help children learn new skills that will improve their ability to function in their environment and to socialize with their peers. Interns encouraged to apply.

Requirements:
– Master’s Degree, CMHC or LCSW
– Active Utah License to practice
– 2-3 years experience required

APPLY
BEHAVIOR CONSULTANT

Our Behavior Consultants travel throughout northern Utah to provide individually designed behavior interventions and training. These plans aim to replace a person’s targeted behaviors with socially acceptable and functionally appropriate behaviors, which increase the person’s ability to be integrated into their community. Our behavior consultants provide a complete functional behavior assessment of the target behaviors, develop a behavior support plan, monitor the implementation of the plan, train caregivers and support staff, and periodically reassess the plan. Services are provided at the person’s home, residential facilities, or elsewhere in our community.

Requirements:
– Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field
– Either already have a BCBA or BCaBA, or enrolled in an active program
– Minimum of 3 years experience working with people with disabilities
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent attention to details
– Ability to adapt to the situation
– Owning reliable transportation is a must

APPLY
BEHAVIOR ANALYST, ABA SUPERVISOR

Behavior analysts utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis and develop individualised programs or treatment plans that target cognitive, speech, language, academic or school readiness, behavior management, play and social skills. Each program is based on the child’s strengths and deficits. The goal is to decrease maladaptive behaviors and replace them with functional skills that will allow autonomy. The behavior analyst is responsible for assessing each child and creating plans that they then teach to their dedicated RBT team and other stakeholders on the client’s case. They also provide group and parent training as part of a well-rounded treatment program.

Requirements:
– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
– BCBA or BCaBA, or currently enrolled in an active program
– If BCBA or BCaBA an Active Utah state license
– 3 years working with children with disabilities
– 1 year experience with adults with disabilities
– Minimum 2 years management experience
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent attention to details
– Ability to adapt to the situation
– Owning reliable transportation is a must
